“Hiring Eivan’s for our wedding was a great decision! Our photographer Gregory I was professional and FUN! He kept us smiling throughout the day with his quirky personality! My fiancé does not care for photos so I’m happy we had someone working with us who could make him comfortable. He made sure to get multiple images even if it was just “one more”, it was never one more! We had actually hired a different photographer and we replaced him with this company. Worth the stress and money! If I had any tips for the company, it would be to have your photographers give a 30 minute warning before their contracted time is up. Weddings are so busy for the bride and groom, it is very easy to lose track of time. I think clients would appreciate a little heads up just so they can try and capture any photos they may have missed. Other than that, I have ZERO complaints. Such an amazing experience! 10/10 highly recommend :)”

“I had a good experience with this company for the most part. They were priced reasonably in comparison to other vendors I researched. There were several times where the communication was a bit vague and the payment experience was not very clear. The online portal used for payment was not working when I was trying to place the deposit. When I finally was able to get the portal to work, it charged me the full amount, which was unexpected. Upon reaching out immediately to the wedding coordinator at Eivan's, I was ghosted. I reached out to the accounting department and they responded with a generic response telling me they cannot guarantee the refund and paying it over time would cost more. I opted to just leave it alone for my own sanity. I reviewed the day of the wedding with my photographer only and our expectations. I received no contact from the videographer. They were plenty friendly the day of the wedding and handled a lot of the very demanding family members well. Both showed up dressed very casually, which was not my favorite, especially since they both made it into portions of my video. I also learned later that despite buying them 150 plated meals they were allowed to asked for payment for tolls and parking. I realize now it was in the fine print, so please make sure you very carefully read contracts prior to signing them. I am not upset by the experience, but I understand why this company was cheaper than others. If others asked for a recommendation, I would not turn them away from Eivan's, but if you are on a budget and have your expectations set accordingly, they will get the job done.”

Our DJ was Ace, Sax Player Austin and singer Natalie. I booked 11 months in advance, had a phone meet and greet 6 weeks out and had several revisions to the itinerary as we got closer to the event. Any changes , questions or ideas I had were promptly acknowledged, answered and collaborated on which continually reassured me that Second Song took a personal interest in making our night one to remember. I also found out that Second Song is frequently hired by my employer, Providence Medical Center in Torrance, for their Foundation events.”

From the start, they had us take a quiz to see which style of photography we liked most. Then, they gave us options of photographers that meet those criteria. Then, the photographers communicate with you directly and you fill out a form with all the details of your big day (and there were some things I probably would have forgotten without this!) They were extremely communicative and helped ease any concerns along the way. Not to mention, the price for not one but TWO photographers for my entire wedding was unbeatable! Our photographers were seriously the best and added so much life to our party! Towards the end of the night, one of our photographers, Jose, was on the dance floor with us being completely immersed and getting pictures that reflect exactly what it was like to be on that dance floor! And, we received all our pictures back in LESS THAN TWO WEEKS! This is absolutely unheard of, and was a great surprise! “From my first call with JJ Essen, I knew his team was a good fit. He was prompt, communicative, and organized. He assigned Scott as our DJ & Javier as our photobooth attendant. Scott was equally communicative & organized. He set up multiple calls throughout the process, and was super flexible with us when we had to change our venue & timeline 3 weeks before the wedding. I sent Scott some specific songs, but also shared my Spotify playlists, and he made sure the entire night was popping! The dance floor was full all night, as Scott played banger after banger. He really nailed my music taste! And Javier made the photobooth so fun for my guests! He double-checked our chosen songs and made suggestions if he thought one of them wouldn't work. He really brought the party to the wedding day! Our MC Matt was top-notch. He made sure that he had everyone's names correct, that our timeline was on schedule, and was able to work on his feet when something didn't happen exactly in the timeline. He was professional and kind and brought the energy to the wedding day! This team was incredible and made our wedding a night we will never forget!! Pictures don't capture just how much fun we had! She was so supportive throughout the whole planning stage, any questions we had she answered and even after the wedding, answering questions that only come up after the event has happened. Haylie was intentional, thoughtful and she helped us be at ease leading up to the wedding and day of. With family travelling from outside of the country, she made a simple document we could give to them to have all the info needed so they didn't ask us the day of. Haylie went above and beyond to make our wedding day our dream day and we cant thank her enough.”

“Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”
